OSWEGO, N.Y. – Senior Grace Parente - of the women's swim and dive team - has been named Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 23.
Parente helped lead Oswego to a 2-1 week in dual meets with seven events wins. Against Cortland, she won the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.38), 200-yard butterfly (2:22.15), 200-yard freestyle relay (1:47.42) and 200-yard medley relay (1:57.51).
On Saturday against both Fredonia and Roberts Wesleyan, she was tops in the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.29), 200-yard butterfly (2:22.68) and 200-yard medley relay (1:58.34).
Oswego will host Potsdam this Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Laker Pool.
