Fiona Higgins threw a no-hitter on Tuesday against Defiance College in a complete game effort. Higgins had ten strikeouts in the no hitter only allowing two batters to reach base. The Buffalo NY native has a total of seven games started this season, totaling 28.0 innings pitched. Higgins has 37 strikeouts this season and an Earned Runs Average of 1.00. The Lakers will start their home game schedule on Wednesday March 23rd at 3:00 PM against the Tigers of RIT.
