Oswego State Athletics

Faith Coyle of the Indoor Track and Field team has been selected as Oswego Health's Athlete of The Month for February.

In February, the Indoor Track and Field team competed in four events, including the Indoor Track and Field SUNYAC Championships.

At the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up, Coyle ran her fastest 800 meter race in her career with a time of 2:19.48. This is an improvement of 5.44 seconds from the SUNYAC Indoor championships of last season. On February 4th, Coyle ran her best 3000 meter race at Brockport with a time of 11:28.26. Also at Brockport, Coyle took first place in the 1 mile race with a time of 5:21.88.

At the SUNYAC Championships, the Sophomore took sixth place in the women's 800 meter run. With a time of 2:19.75, she qualified for the AARTFC Regionals in New York City. 

This is the second year in a row that Coyle has qualified for the AARTFC Regional Championships.
