Oswego State Athletics

Cavalcanti (Valatie/Ichabod Crane) accounted for game winning goals in a SUNYAC weekend sweep of Potsdam and Plattsburgh, which moved the Lakers into a four-way tie for second place in the conference standings.  He scored the game’s opening goal at 5:06 of the first half and was one of four different scorers for the Lakers in a 4-0 triumph over the Bears.  Cavalcanti accounted for all of the scoring for Oswego (23:10 and 36:17 in the first half) in a 2-1 win over the Cardinals, who came into the game ranked fourth in the Northeast Region by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. He takes over the team lead in scoring with five goals and 10 points.
