Oswego State Athletics

A two-year member of the swimming and diving team, Bartemus made his presence known on the diving boards. In 1975, the diver earned All-America honors on the 3-meter board. Bartemus has the distinct honor of being the first All-American diver in Oswego State history. That same year, Bartemus' place on the 3-meter board helped the Lakers finish 25th at the NCAA Championships. Over his two years, Bartemus won both the 1- and 3-meter events at multiple meets, including matchups against Brockport, Geneseo and Binghamton.
