Doyle's legacy as a Laker is showcased by the incredible achievements he collected during his tenure. During his time on the SUNY Oswego men's swimming and diving team, he earned SUNYAC First Team All-Conference honors as well as SUNYAC Champion three times, in 2006, 2007, and 2008 (100 and 200 freestyle), showcasing his consistent dominance in the conference. Greg was also the SUNYAC Champion in the 500 freestyle in 2008. Doyle is also named SUNYAC Swimmer of the meet at the SUNYAC Championship in 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08. In 2008 he was awarded the SUNY Oswego Outstanding Male Athlete of the year award. Doyle was also a two-time All-American in the 200-Yard Freestyle, achieving this prestigious recognition in both 2007 and 2008. In 2006 Doyle was named All American Honorable Mention for finishing 16th in the 200 Freestyle at the NCAA Championships. His remarkable performances are further evidenced by his record-setting feats; he holds the Oswego records for both the 200-Yard Freestyle (1:39.38) and the 500-Yard Freestyle (4:40.14), both set in 2008.
