At the time of Hall of Fame voting, Charles ranked in the top 10 in program history for the following career categories: second in at-bats (458), third in runs (119), fourth in hits (172), fifth in walks (64), tied for sixth in stolen bases (41), tied for seventh in doubles (25), eighth in batting average (.376) and tied for 10th in RBI (81).
