Swimming and Diving

A four-year swimmer for the Lakers, Chetney earned the title of SUNYAC Finalist every single year. In 1992 and 1993, he took home first in the 100-yard breast at the SUNYAC Championships, setting the record in the event until fellow Hall of Fame inductee Charlie Manners broke it four years later. The swimmer also placed 10^th in the national meet in 1992, earning him All-America Honorable Mention honors.
