ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Oswego State softball team fell in both games of a doubleheader to Nazareth Tuesday afternoon on the road. The first game, Oswego was defeated 3-0, followed by a 10-1 loss in the second. With the losses, Oswgo concludes its season with a record of 5-21. Nazareth improved to 15-19.
Game One:After the first five innings went scoreless, the Golden Flyer were able to tack on two in the bottom of the fifth. Oswego had its best chance to comeback in the top of the sixth, with runners on the corners and only one out but were unsuccessful. Nazareth would score an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth to seal the deal.

Tori Trovato and
Justine Abramowski had the Lakers three hits, including a double from Trovato.
O'Callaghan pitched all six innings for the Lakers, only allowing four hits and one earned run. The junior also recorded a punch out.
Game Two:The game was all even through the first two, as neither team could put a run on the board. Nazareth struck first though, scoring one in the third frame and three in the following inning.
Oswego would put up its sole run of the evening in the top of the fifth.
Jessie Terrano pinch hit for
Dana Taglioni, singling to get on first.
Amanda Pfitscher was then struck by a pitch, moving her to first and Terrano to second. Both runners would advance on a foul out by O'Callaghan and then Terrano scored on a sacrifice fly by Trovato. The Golden Flyers then forced an
Alexis Nasca pop-out to end the inning. Nazareth would go on to rack up six more runs through the next two innings, drawing the game to a close through five.
Alexandria Connelly started for the Lakers, taking her six loss of the year. Nasca would come in to relieve her at in the fifth.
