OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State field hockey team fell 3-0 against Oneonta at Laker Turf Stadium on Saturday afternoon. With the loss, the Lakers fall to 1-6 overall and 1-2 in the conference while the Red Dragons improve to 3-5 overall, 1-1 in the SUNYAC.
The Lakers offense fired off a season-high 12 shots-on-goal, including four apiece for
Lisa O'Callaghan and
Emily Lange but were unable to put it past the Red
Dragon goalie.
Dani Cronk also helped offensively, pitching in three shots-on-goal herself.
Grace Lombardi tied a career-high in saves, racking up 13 total throughout the 70 minutes.
Field Hockey will return to the action at 4 p.m. on Tuesday as the team travels to Keuka College for a non-conference matchup with the Wolfpack.
