RESULTS MEN

BETHLEHEM Pa. – The Oswego State men's and women's cross country team competed in Lehigh's Paul Short Invitational on Friday. The men finished 21st out of 24 teams, while the women finished 20^th out of 32 teams.

Colin Greenseich, who placed first at the Oswego State Fall Invitational, led the way for the Laker men in the 8K race made up of Division II and III schools. The senior had a time of 25:43 which earned him 48^th place. Following Greenseich was junior Dylan McCarthy, who finished with a time of 26:19. Tim Olmsted and Andy Boyce also finished the race in under 27 minutes.

The women were led by Kayla Wheeler, who is in her first year with the Lakers. Wheeler finished with a time of 24:09 to place 64th. Twelve seconds behind her was senior Morgan Bronner. Both runners placed in the top 100 of the 271 competitors. The women's team finished just one point behind Stevenson, with a total of 492 points.

On Saturday, Oct. 14 the teams will be back in action at the Yellowjacket Cross Country Invite in Rochester. It is their final invitational before the SUNYAC Championship.
