OSWEGO, N.Y. – Both Oswego State swimming and diving teams earned victories, defeating Alfred State on Saturday. The women claimed their matchup with the Pioneers 173-114, while the men collected theirs with 185-99.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The men began their scoring, with Walker Snowden, Steven Cooley, Luis Perez and Matt Rolph claiming the 200-yard medley relay, posting a combined time of 1:44.26.
- Perez also earned an individual victory in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:03.13).
- The junior, aided by Alex Davie, Brendan Beutel and Colt Manis, posted a time of 1:50.57 to win the 200-yard freestyle relay.
- Davie collected two individual wins in the 50-yard freestyle (21.60) and the 100-yard freestyle (47.82).
- Beutel earned two solo victories as well, claiming the 100-yard butterfly (58.15) and the 50-yard butterfly (28.64).
- Junior Nick Weber won the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.30) and the 100-yard IM (57.70).
- For the women, Kayla Merrill along with Eva Potvin, Riley Synan and Kelsey Oliverio posted a combined time of 1:59.94, winning the 200-yard medley relay.
- Merrill went on to win the 100-yard freestyle (1:00.06), while tying for first in the 100-yard freestyle with teammate Lok Chi Hon (1:06.63).
- Oliverio, Hon, Julia Lamb and Laura Gostomski posted a time of 1:50.57, for a win in the 200-freestyle relay.
- On the diving board, Miranda Frascatore took both the 1-meter (249.05) and the 3-meter (243.80) events.

Oswego returns to Laker pool at 1 p.m. on Saturday as it hosts the Brockport Golden Eagles for a dual meet.
