BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Oswego State women's swimming and diving team won 13-of-16 events in posting a 204-64 victory over the Bengals of Buffalo State. Senior
Hannah Jensen led the way with two individual event wins (100-yard backstroke, 100-yard freestyle) and was part of the winning 200-yard medley relay team. On the men's side, it was 11-of-16 event wins on the evening with
JJ Alaniz (200-yard backstroke, 100-yard breaststroke, 400-yard freestyle relay) and
Ryan Kreuser (100-yard backstroke, 500-yard freestye, 400-yard freestyle relay) each earning victories in three events.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The women set the tone early with a win in the 200-yard medley relay as Jensen, Laura Gostomski, Grace Parente and Brittney Colon touched the wall in 2:03.79. Sophomore Jill Leahy (12:03.30) and freshman Vanessa Moss (12:12.10) went one-two in the 1,000-yard freestyle to extend the early lead.
- Senior Riley Synan, swimming in the 100-yard breaststroke for the first time in an impressive college career, brought home the event win in 1:15.97.
- Allegra Neglia won both the 50-yard freestyle (27.03) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:24.77) while Abigail Mullett (500-yard freestyle), Kelsey Oliverio (100-yard butterfly) and Emily Ross (400-yard IM) each won their respective events.
- On the diving boards, sophomore Miranda Frascatore won both the 1-meter event (220.85) and the 3-meter event (206.25). Meghan Maquet was second at 3-meters (197.95) while Laura Bornheimer was third in the 1-meter event (163.55).
- Mexico native Julia Lamb had a pair of runner up finishes (200-yard freestyle, 200-yard backstroke) while swimming the third leg of the winning 400-yard freestyle relay team.
- For the men, Joseph Weinhofer won the 200-yard butterfly (2:05.62), Austin Bull took top honors in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:26.46) and Nick Weber won the 400-yard IM (4:35.03).
- Walker Snowden continues to impress with wins in the 50-yard freestyle (22.34) and the 100-yard freestyle (48.69) while Cameron Ellis won the 1-meter diving event with a score of 289.85. Freshman Eric Dzierzgowski set a new collegiate-best score on the 1-meter board with a 190.60.
