OSWEGO, N.Y. -- The Oswego State field hockey team dropped a back-and-forth battle in overtime at Nazareth College on Tuesday night. It was the second-consecutive game that the Lakers sent into overtime.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Trailing 1-0 in the third quarter, Alyssa DeMichael opened the scoring for the Lakers. The goal marked her third of the season.
- After Nazareth regained the lead, Kathleen Little tallied the equalizer with less than nine minutes remaining in regulation to force the game into overtime. She also led the team with five shots, including four on-goal.
- The Lakers applied offensive pressure in both the 4th quarter and overtime, outshooting the Golden Flyers 8-4.
- Nazareth scored the game-winner 6:28 into overtime off a goal from Bailey Selman, her second of the night.
- Freshman goalkeeper Erica Scheblein kept the team in the game, recording eight saves.
- Oswego had nine penalty corners to six for Nazareth.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers will look to rebound on Saturday as they travel to Brockport to face the Golden Eagles in a SUNYAC matchup at 1 p.m.
