OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's and men's tennis teams were unable to overcome the Daemen College Wildcats on Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The lone Laker to earn a match point, Lydia Houser won her sixth-slotted singles, blanking her opponent 6-0 in the first set. Houser went on to beat the Wildcat 6-2 in the second set.
- Close to recording a win in singles, Lorrayne Broach fell in a close 6-4, 6-2 second singles matchup.
- With an impressive run at fifth-singles, Alesha Pilon came back from a 6-0 blank in the first set, forcing the second to 7-5 before falling.
- Haru Kobayashi and Bridget Bender owned the closet doubles match, slotted in the second spot, narrowly falling 8-7.
- For the men, their best opportunities for points came in the doubles portion.
- Owning the closest match was Vlad Djuraskovic and Brian Emigholz who fell in a tight 8-6 bout.
- Anthony Salerno and Daniel Maslowski were a part of the second-best attempt, falling 8-4 in the third doubles match.
WHAT'S NEXT
The men return to action on Saturday as the take on Farmingdale State College in a neutral site contest, hosted by the Oneonta Red Dragons. The women closeout their 2018-19 season at 3 p.m. on Monday as they travel to Alfred University.
