HOW IT HAPPENED
- Haru Kobayashi led the Lakers' efforts, owning both their match points. The senior was first victorious at second singles, downing her opponent in two sets, 6-2, 6-2.
- Kobayashi then paired with Erin Vargo in the second-slotted doubles match. The duo took their matchup in two sets, 8-7, 7-5.
- The next closest Laker to claiming a match point was Alesha Pilon who dropped her fifth-slotted singles bout in a tie-breaker, 6-4, 1-6, 2-10.
- For the men, Alex Mintz began the winning, claiming his fifth singles matchup with identical marks of 6-3.
- Earning the Lakers' final singles victory, senior Seth Stopler won his sixth-slotted singles battle in three sets, 6-4, 7-9, 1-0.
- With Oswego's last victory of the match, Stopler paired with Daniel Maslowski to win third doubles in a close 8-6 matchup.
WHAT'S NEXT
As the women's season comes to an end, they look to return four athletes for the 2019-20 slate. The men return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday as they travel to St. John Fisher College.
