OSWEGO, N.Y.
– The Oswego State women's swimming and diving team won every event in their dual meet with visiting Buffalo State on their way to a 200-63 victory.  The men were equally impressive, taking 15-of-16 events, in their 191.64.5 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Laker women were able to display their depth with 11 different event winners across the fourteen individual events.
  • Julia Lamb (500-yard freestyle, 1,000-yard freestyle), Twyla Nastasia (100-yard, freestyle, 200-yard freestyle) and Madeleine Crean (200-yard IM, 200-yard backstroke).
  • Other event winners were Maggie Romano (100-yard backstroke), Eva Potvin (100-yard breaststroke), Lok Chi Hon (200-yard butterfly), Keaton Maring (50-yard freestyle), Emily Ross (200-yard breaststroke) and Kelsey Oliverio (100-yard butterfly).
  • On the boards, Laura Bornheimer won the 3-meter event (217.58) and Meghan Maquet (253.65) won the 1-meter competition.
  • The women's 200-yard medley relay team of Kayla Merrill, Potvin, Oliverio and Maring took first while the 200-yard freestyle relay team of Maring, Merrill, Nastasia and Lamb were also victorious.
  • For the men, Alex Davie (100-yard and 200-yard freestyle), Walker Snowden (100-yard backstroke, 100-yard butterfly), Zachary Brown (100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke) and Cameron Ellis (1-meter, 3-meter diving boards) were your dual event winners.
  • Other event winners for the men were Nate Einstein (200-yard IM), Joseph Weinhofer (500-yard freestyle), Matt Rolph (200-yard backstroke), Nate McBurney (1,000-yard freestyle) and Ryan Kreuser (50-yard freestyle).
  • Kreuser, Brown, Snowden and Davie brought home top honors in the 200-yard medley relay while Nick Weber, Snowden, Kreuser and Davie won the 200-yard freestyle relay.
WHAT'S NEXT

Oswego is back in action next Saturday at 1 p.m. in Rochester when they take on Roberts Wesleyan in dual meet action.
