OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State Men's and Women's swimming & diving team competed in a dual-meet against SUNY Cortland on Wednesday. Both the men and women's teams fell to the Red Dragons.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Lakers won 10 of the 30 races.

Zachary Brown won two races, the Men 50 Yard Breaststroke (27.39), and the Men 100 Yard Breaststroke (58.39).

Jayna Laferriere won the Women 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 26.75 in the finals. She also won the Women 100 Yard Freestyle, finishing in 57.14.

Jack Olsian won the Men 50 Yard Freestyle with a time of 23.05.

Emily Lotito won the Women 100 Yard Breaststroke with a time of 1:14.20.

Oswego swept the 200 Yard IM races, with Anna Baker winning the women's race in 2:30.67, and Nathan Ratta Vine, who swam faster in the finals (2:12.32) than his seed time (2:12.40).

The team of Alexia Lemus, Baker, Lotito, and Laferriere won the Women 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, combining to finish in 1:49.21.

Likewise, the men's team of Olsian, Matthew Seyse, Brown, and Raymond Paull won the Men 200 Yard Freestyle Relay with a time of 1:30.64.

The Lakers will host Roberts Wesleyan in the Laker Pool on Saturday January 21.
