BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Oswego State Field Hockey team took a tough 1-0 road loss this past Saturday to SUNY Brockport in a very evenly played contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Both teams were scoreless in the first quarter with the Golden Eagles leading in shots, 3-2.
- Brockport scored the lone goal of the contest at the 22:35 mark of the second stanza.
- The Lakers were the aggressors in the quarter with a 4-2 advantage in shots.
- Defense was at a premium in the third frame with only one shot and one penalty corner between the two squads.
- Oswego ramped up the pressure in the fourth quarter with six shots, but could not break through.
- Kate McNally led Oswego with four shots while Molly Darcy added three.
- The Lakers got 13 shots to 11 for Brockport, while the hosts had the 7-6 advantage in penalty corners.
- KY Phillips finished with five saves for the Lakers in goal.
