Utica, N.Y. - The Lakers traveled to Utica to compete in Utica University's Holiday Classic. Coming off a strong season-opener last week, they looked to grab more personal bests performances to build up confidence as they head into winter break. Out of 13 schools, the Lakers would finish 11th with 17 points.

On the Track

• The 300m is where the Lakers would capitalize for the majority of their points thanks to Aidan Harrington finishing second place with a time of 36.47 seconds. Harrington's second place finish scored 8 points for the Lakers. His stellar performance put him second all-time in school history. 
• Jordan Ballard finished 5th in the 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.91. Ballard added 4 points to the Lakers total for the day. His performance put him 6th on the all-time school history list. 
• Harrington would be called up again in the 60m and he delivered another 2 points for the Lakers thanks to his 7th place finish in the event. 
• The Lakers would score another 2 points in the 800m thanks to Tom Mahunik who finished 7th with a time of 2:03.01. 
• Zachary Demott also competed in the 300m where he would finish 8th with a new personal best time of 40.13 seconds. 
• Dan Mars put together another solid performance in the 60m which would lead him to finishing 9th with a time of 7.24 seconds. 
• Harrington would complete his strong work-load in the 200m. His personal best performance of 22.96 puts him 8th in school history.
• Henry Rose took 13th in the 3000m. 
• Miguel Tineo Reyes finished 15th in the 5000m
• Matthew Pietzak placed 17th in the mile. 

On the Field

• Hunter O'Dell would take on the Long Jump and Triple Jump where he would finish 10th and 26th respectively. 
• Adam Cuyler placed 19th in the Shot Put with a new personal best mark of 37 ft 10 ½ inches. 
• Michael Carlson took 33rd in the Weight Throw.

The Lakers will rest up and enjoy the holidays before heading out to SUNY Brockport for the Winter Welcome Back Brockport Invite on Saturday January 20th.
