OSWEGO, NY – Congratulations to Ahkee Anderson of the SUNY Oswego men's basketball team for being named the SUNYAC men's basketball athlete of the week.

Anderson had an outstanding week for the Lakers helping them secure three road conference wins in the SUNYAC. In what was the toughest challenge of the week for the Lakers, he had 35 points on a blistering 66.7% shooting with seven rebounds and five assists at SUNY New Paltz. On Saturday, Anderson continued his hot streak at SUNY Fredonia with 23 points, 2 assists, and 6 rebounds. After scoring in double figures in their final game of the week at Buffalo State on Sunday, in his 3 games, Anderson averaged 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.3 assists on 65.8% shooting with only 3 turnovers.

Anderson currently leads the Lakers in blocked shots per game with 0.5 per game. He also is second in the conference in three-point percentage shooting at 53.1%

SUNY Oswego men's basketball is currently first in the SUNYAC standing with a 13-2 overall record and a 9-0 conference record while holding a #6 ranking by D3Hoops. On Tuesday evening they will host SUNY Oneonta starting at 7:30 PM.
