OSWEGO, NY -The SUNYAC has announced their weekly awards. The Lakers very own Jayna Laferriere was selected as the Swimmer Athlete of the Week award for Women's Swim and Dive!

In the second meet of the season against Clarkson, Jayna finished first overall in the women's 200-yard freestyle (2:02.14), first in the women's 50-yard freestyle (25.86), first in the women's 100-yard freestyle (55.81), and was part of the first-place relay in the women's 200-yard freestyle. She was a major part of the Oswego women's swim and dive team securing a win on Saturday 182-114.

Jayna is in her junior year with the Lakers and is from Burnt Hills, NY.

Oswego swim and dive will hit the road this weekend to take on Hobart and Williams Smith Colleges on Saturday at 1:00 PM
