Sparks was named first team All-Conference and was also selected to the All-Tournament team after scoring 22 points in the final game. Sparks has also been named to The Top 50 Bevo Francis award watch list this season.
"Jeremiah has earned every bit of recognition that he has received to this point in his senior year. Nobody has put more time into improvement than Jeremiah has. The thing that separates Jeremiah from so many others is that his success has never been at the expense of team concepts or achievements. His fingerprints can be seen within every aspect of our program. Tangibly and from the outside, his offensive numbers are most visible. But the commitment he has as a defender and a leader should not go unnoticed. Nobody impacts winning more than
Jeremiah Sparks." Head Coach
Jason Leone.
Sparks and the Lakers will advance to the NCAA tournament for the third season in a row after receiving an at-large bid. On Friday the Lakers will host Babson College for a 6:00 PM Tip Off.
