HERSHEY, PA – The men's golf team of Dante Cassella, Edward Shanahan, Tyler Donohue, Evan McDonald, Gavin Neuland and Conor Tierney, hit the road for Hershey PA, again this weekend for round 3 of the Empire 8 Spring Championships at the Hershy Country Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The 2023-24 league champion is determined from results of the Fall Championship, followed up by the 36-hole Spring Championship, which will take place on April 13-14, 2024 at Hershey Country Club in Hershey, PA. The 2023-24 Empire 8 Champion receives an automatic berth into the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship, set for May 14-17 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, NV.

The Lakers currently are in second place behind only St John Fisher.

Conor Tierney finished round 3 tied for fifth shooting an 83 (+12). He collected two birdies on the back nine after none on the front nine.

Tyler Donohue shot an 85 (+14) with a 42 on the front nine and 43 on the back nine.

Gavin Neuland shot an 86 (+15) with a low score of 40 on the front and 46 on the back nine.

Edward Shanahan finished with a score of 92 (+21) with a 44 on the front nine and 48 on the back.

Evan McDonald finished his round also with a score of 92 (+21) showing improvement after shooting a 51 on the front nine he recovered with a 41 on the back nine.

Dante Cassella finished his day with a score of 96 (+25) shooting 46 on the front and 50 on the back.

WHAT'S NEXT

The final round is tomorrow and the first tee off will be at 8:00 am. Dante Cassella will be the first one out for the Lakers starting at 9:12 AM.
