CORTLAND, NY – A few athletes from the SUNY Oswego men's and women's track & field teams participated in the All Atlantic Region Track and Field Championships on Wednesday afternoon.

HIGHLIGHTS
The first event of the day for the Lakers was the men's 4x100. The team of Aidan Harrington, Jack Hickey, Daniel Mars, and Matthew Broadnax were on the track looking to improve on their school record breaking time from the SUNYAC Championships. In light rain, the men were at their fastest pace yet once again breaking the school record for the 4x100 with a time of 42.72 improving by .01.
The next event was the men's 100-meter by Daniel Mars. In this competitive heat, he finished with a time of 11.23 finishing 5th.
The 4x100 team returned to the track a few events later to run the 4x400 event after the rain stopped for the evening. Daniel Mars started off followed by Aidan Harrington, Jack Hickey, and Matthew Broadnax. They finished with a time of 3:20.69 which is good enough to land them sixth all time in the men's 4x400 in Oswego history and secure them eight place overall at the AARTFC.
The final event of the evening was the women's 5000-meter by Faith Coyle. Coyle ran a time of 18:22.94 finishing 12th overall in a field of 33. This time is good enough to rank her second in Oswego history for the women's 5000-meter.
WHAT'S NEXT
Tomorrow the Lakers will be in action in two more events. Faith Coyle will run the women's 800 and Rhiannon Butchko will compete in the women's high jump.
