ROCHESTER, N.Y. – SUNY Oswego Field Hockey hit the road for Rochester, NY on Wednesday for St John Fisher University where the Lakers took on the Cardinals. The Lakers ultimately fell to St John Fisher, 3-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
St John Fisher tested the Oswego defense for the entire first half. The Cardinals fired 8 shots at the Lakers while Oswego struggled to produce scoring opportunities. Oswego was awarded 6 corners in the first half, but they were not able to capitalize, and the two teams entered half time tied at 0.
Three minutes into the second half, St John Fisher was awarded a penalty stroke that was successful, giving them a 1-0 lead. Just four minutes later, after a shot went wide, the Cardinals regained their offensive effort and scored goal number two from the front of the goal. The final goal for St John Fisher came in the final minutes of the game finalize the score at 3-0.
