How It Happened
William Smith struck early, netting three goals in the opening quarter to take control. Oswego tightened its defensive shape in the second period, keeping the Herons off the board thanks to several key stops from senior goalkeeper Sam Krauthiem, who finished with 10 saves in 45 minutes of action. Fellow goalie Mia Foer came on in the fourth quarter and added two more saves to close out the game.

The Lakers' defense absorbed heavy pressure as William Smith recorded 23 total shots and 15 penalty corners. Despite being pinned deep for stretches, Oswego's back line continued to contest every possession and blocked multiple attempts in the circle.
