Oswego, NY. – The Lakers swim and dive teams took on the Berry College Vikings for their final meet of their road trip on Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened
The women set the tone early, as Oswego opened the meet with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay. Izzy Dague,
Aurora Jarvie,
Joscelyn Coniski, and
Jayna Laferriere combined for a winning time of 1:58.32, edging Berry in a tight race to establish early momentum. Coniski continued to shine as one of Oswego's top performers, capturing individual wins in both the 100-yard butterfly (1:03.48) and the 50-yard butterfly (28.79).
Laferriere dominated the sprint freestyle events, sweeping the 50-yard freestyle in 25.58 and the 100-yard freestyle in 55.65. Gabby Janeski added key points with second-place finishes in the 50- and 100-yard breaststroke, while Dague contributed with a fourth-place showing in the 500-yard freestyle and a solid swim in the 200-yard individual medley .
On the men's side, Oswego consistently battled Berry across the meet.
Nathan Ratta Vine delivered a pair of runner-up finishes, placing second in both the 100-yard IM (56.50) and the 200-yard IM (2:06.46).
Antonio Medina was another bright spot for the Lakers, finishing third in the 200-yard freestyle and second in the 100-yard freestyle, while Jake Sarnowski turned in a strong second-place effort in the 500-yard freestyle to pace Oswego in the distance events
Relay performances also proved to be a strength for the Lakers. The men's 200-yard freestyle relay team of Sam Waddell, Medina,
Ryan Murphy, and
Nicholas Derick finished second with a time of 1:31.70, closing the meet with an energetic performance.
Jayden Hernandez and
Mitchell Stevens each posted multiple top-four finishes in butterfly and backstroke events, adding depth to Oswego's scoring and keeping the races competitive throughout the session.
What's Next
The Lakers will return home this Saturday January 17
th to host Roberts Wesleyan at 1:00 PM in Laker Hall.
