OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Oswego women's swimming and diving team rewrote parts of its record book at last season's conference championships, and several of the Lakers responsible are back when the 2026-27 season opens Oct. 17 against Oneonta in Laker Hall.

The Lakers finished third at the 2026 SUNYAC-AMCC Championships in Buffalo. Head coach Mike Holman, a 1996 Oswego graduate, enters his 20th season leading the program; his staff was named the 2025 SUNYAC Women's Swimming and Diving Coaching Staff of the Year.

The women must replace Jayna Laferriere, the 2026 SUNYAC Female Swimmer of the Year after three individual golds, as well as seniors Emily Lotito, Anna Baker and Abby Hinman.

Key Returners
Junior Izzy Dague leads the returning women after breaking the school record in the 400-yard individual medley twice in one day at SUNYACs, winning gold in 4:37.50. She also set the program record in the 200 backstroke (2:06.30) while placing second.

Sophomore Isabella McDonald, the 2025 SUNYAC Rookie of the Year, placed fifth in the 1,650 freestyle and swam on the runner-up 400 free relay. Sophomore Joscelyn Coniski took third in the 200 butterfly as a freshman and swam on the bronze-medal 200 medley relay.
