Oswego, NY - The Oswego State Softball team landed 5 All-SUNYAC honorees, along with taking home the rookie of the year award for the 2026 regular season. The Lakers finished with a 18-9 record, 11-7 in conference, which landed the Lakers the sixth seed in the SUNYAC Tournament.

Delaney Wiley (Cape Vincent, NY/ Thousand Islands High School) earned first team all-conference after an excellent first season as a Laker. Wiley hit for an average of .412 in 27 starts. She scored 23 runs on 35 hits with 11 doubles, a triple, and a home run while driving in 23 runs. Wiley had a slugging percentage of .600 and an on base percentage of .457 with 12 stolen bases on the year.

Kira Wright (Stormville, NY/ Carmel High School) earned her first all-conference nod of her career this season. Wright started all 27 games for the Lakers in centerfield with a .935 fielding percentage. She hit for an average of .429 with .667 slugging and .500 on base. She scored 31 runs with 36 hits, 6 doubles, 3 triples, and 13 RBI with 16 stolen bases.

Lillian Haggerty (Saratoga Springs, NY/ Glens Falls High School) is being recognized by the conference for the second season in a row. In the field, Haggerty didn't make an error all season and at the plate she hit for an average of .344. She started 23 games scoring 14 runs with 22 hits, 5 doubles, 3 triples and 16 RBIO. She also swiped 6 bases. This is the second season in a row she has been named second team all-conference.

Alyssa Budzinski (Williamsville, NY/ Williamsville South High School) was named the SUNYAC Rookie of the Year and earned a spot on second team all-conference. As a pitcher, she appeared in 21 games with 13 complete games and an overall record of 13-4. Her ERA for the season was 2.60 and she struck out 106 batters in 107.2 innings pitched. She also fielded her position well not committing an error all season.

Emma Budzinski (Williamsville, NY/ Williamsville South High School) earned second team all-conference for the first time in her career. Playing most of the season behind the plate, Emma started in 23 games hitting for an average of .388. She scored 17 runs on 26 hits with 3 doubles, 1 triple, and 5 home runs. She also batted in 22 runs with 5 stolen bases and a slugging percentage of .687 and on base percentage of .463.
