Oswego, NY - The Lakers very own Matthew Drillings earned two all region nominations that were release Tuesday. He earned First Team All-Region III from D3baseball.com and Third Team All-Region III From the American Baseball Coaches Association.

The junior from Chester, N.Y. was honored with All-SUNYAC First Team following his dominant season out of the bullpen. Drillings served as the Lakers' designated closer for this year. He made 20 appearances with 37.2 innings pitched. In that span, he pitched to a 1-3 record with a 2.15 earned run average. He struck out 26 batters while walking just 6 and recorded 10 saves on the season. His willingness and ability to throw multiple innings gave Oswego massive flexibility in the back half of their bullpen, as he recorded 9 appearances throwing 2.0 or more innings.
