OSWEGO, N.Y. – The SUNY Oswego women's tennis team has announced its 2026 fall schedule, featuring a balanced slate of regional non-conference matchups and six SUNYAC contests as the Lakers look to earn a return trip to the conference championship tournament.
Oswego opens the season at home on Sept. 1 when it welcomes Geneseo to the Romney Tennis Courts for a 4:30 p.m. first serve. The Lakers then hit the road for a matchup against RIT on Sept. 5 before returning home the following day to host Farmingdale State College.
A busy stretch continues with back-to-back road matches against Utica (Sept. 11) and Brockport (Sept. 12) before conference play begins on Sept. 18 at Cortland. The Lakers will make their SUNYAC home debut the following afternoon when they host Delhi on Sept. 19.
The non-conference schedule also includes a road contest at Daemen on Sept. 26 and a visit to Houghton on Oct. 9. In between, Oswego will continue SUNYAC action with road matches against Fredonia on Sept. 30 and Plattsburgh on Oct. 3.
The Lakers close out the regular season at home on Oct. 10 against Oneonta in a matchup that could carry significant postseason implications as teams jockey for position in the conference standings.
The top teams in the conference will advance to the SUNYAC Tournament, which returns to the Binghamton Tennis Center. The semifinals are scheduled for Oct. 16, with the championship match set for Oct. 17.
