The Oswego State field hockey team welcomes the Red Dragons of Cortland to Laker Turf Field for today's SUNYAC conference matchup.  

Last time out: 
  • Oswego fell at Oneonta by a 3-2 score
  • Cortland won a 3-2 overtime contest against St. John Fisher
The last meeting:  Cortland won a 2-1 decision in Oswego on October 12, 2019.

All-time:  Cortland has a 35-3 advantage in head-to-head meetings, including winning the last 34 meetings dating back to 1985.

  • Oswego averages 3.87 goals per contest while allowing just 1.60 goals.
  • Cortland averages 4.71 goals per contest while allowing just 1.36 goals.
Individual Leaders:
    Oswego
  • Junior Kaitlyn Mastracco leads the Lakers with 15 goals and four assists for 34 points, ranking her second in the SUNYAC for scoring and 23rd nationally in goals per contest.
  • Kacie Simzer (17 pts), Alyssa DeMichael (15 pts), Nancy Pagliaroli (14 pts) and Kaitlyn Ahle (10 pts) are all in double digits for points. 
    Cortland
  • Freshman Keirra Ettere leads the SUNYAC in scoring behind 22 goals and eight assists for 52 points.  She ranks second nationally in goals per contest at 1.57.
  • Freshman Hanna Corrigan (28 pts) and junior Lily Fox (27 pts) rank fourth and fifth in the conference in points.
Playoff Implications:  Oswego will need a victory and a loss from Oneonta when they take on #19 New Paltz, as Oneonta holds the tie-breaker edge over the Lakers should both teams finish tied for the final playoff spot.
