During this seminar, attendees will learn the basics of goal setting. This includes different types of goals to set and how to create "SMART" based goals. When the basics of goal setting are followed, it is more likely to see success over a longer period of time.

. In this seminar, Coach Smith will cover factors that affect distance running performance and discuss ways to improve those factors. Also discussed will be injury prevention, aerobic development, running economy, and recovery.Â

The seminar will go into depth on how to conduct a sports team's practice to be efficient and productive, how to keep athletes engaged and working on individual development, as well as how to incorporate team concepts. Specific discussions will focus on when to focus on skill development or when to work on game planning.
