Tyler Morris was hired by Oswego State in the winter of 2017 as an assistant coach for the track and field teams.
Morris is currently a graduate assistant for Oswego’s Department of Technology. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Technology Education from Oswego in 2017.
While at Oswego, Morris ran cross country from 2013-17 and track and field from 2014-17. He recorded his fastest 8K time of 26:33.6 at the Geneseo Mike Woods Invitational on Oct. 3, 2015. Morris’ top career finish came at the SUNYIT Short Course Invitational on Aug. 30, 2014, when he placed second in the 6K with a time of 19:54.0.
Morris currently resides in Oswego.
