Assistant Vice President/Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Wendy McManus announced Cory Moehringer as Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communication.
"We are excited to welcome Cory to the Laker family." said McManus "It was evident throughout the search process that Cory was the right person for the position. He immediately fit right in with our staff and student-athletes."
In his role here he will serve as the primary liaison for all media communications, efficiently distributing sports information to stakeholders and directing the sports communication strategy. This includes managing the Athletics Information Office and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference standards. He will direct the athletics website and social media engagement strategy, maintaining historical archives and fostering audience interaction across platforms.
Moehringer comes to Oswego after spending two years as the Assistant Athletic Director - Sports Information at Wells College. While at Wells, he was responsible for the management of all communication, media, and game day operations for the Express.

Prior to Wells, Moehringer spent 4-years as the inaugural Sports Information Director at Bryant & Stratton College of Syracuse.
The Baldwinsville native is a 2014 graduate of SUNY Brockport with a dual degree in Exercise Science and Kinesiology. Moehringer resides in Liverpool, NY.
