Tyler was hired as an Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant to begin the 2025-26 school year. In addition to his contributions in the Athletic Communications Office and at games, he will pursue an MBA on campus.
Tyler graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Cortland’s Sport Management program, completing a minor in Communications, as well as a concentration in Sport Media & Technology. Throughout his time at Cortland, he served as the main play-by-play broadcaster for a multitude of sports, including Football, Basketball, Hockey, Baseball, and Softball. He also served as a Team Manager for Special Teams for the Football program, where he was a part of the 2023 National Championship team. Tyler brings internship experience across various professional sport organizations, including the Chiefs, Yankees, and most recently, player operations for the US Open.
Tyler hails from West Babylon, New York, a Long Island suburb. He enjoys lifting weights, skiing, and cooking with friends and family.
