Oswego State sophomore women's ice hockey forward Kristin Metzger registered the game-tying goal midway through the third period in Saturday's 1-1 tie with seventh-ranked Elmira to snap an eight-game losing streak to the Soaring Eagles. The tie also marked the first non-loss to the 2010 NCAA Division III Semifinalist in program history. It was Metzger's first goal of the season, as well as her career.
