Oswego State junior swimmer Nikki Dean (Lansing, NY) was chosen as the female athlete of the week after recording six of six first place finishes. Three of the six wins (200 butterfly, 500 free, 1000 free) came in the Lakers’ dual meet against the Cortland Red Dragons where the Oswego State women lost 133.5-165.5 and the other three were achieved in the Lakers’ dual meet 129-102 win against the Potsdam Bears (400 medley relay, 200 free, 200 butterfly). Dean has helped lead the Laker women to a 5-1 record for the season.
