Ashley Collins of the Oswego State Field Hockey team has been named Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 27, 2013.

Collins helped the Lakers to a 2-0 victory against Nazareth early in the week with a goal and an assist.  Collins found teammate Rachel Johnston off a penalty corner in the first half to give the Lakers a 1-0 lead, and in the second period took matters into her own hands scoring off a penalty corner in the 64th minute for her fourth goal of the season.

Oswego concluded its season with a 3-0 loss to Oneonta on Sunday.
