Senior women’s lacrosse attack player Rachel Ventresca (Henninger/ Syracuse) had an amazing week, scoring 17 goals and adding 6 assists. Against Keuka, Ventresca broke the school record for most goals scored in a game (9) and most points in a game (14). She has now tied the all-time school record for most assists in one season (32) and is 3 points away from tying the school record for most points in one season. Ventresca currently leads the Lakers in points with 55 goals and 32 assists for a total of 87 points on the season. She stands fourth all-time at Oswego with 182 points (128 goals, 54 assists). With one game remaining on the regular season schedule, she is five points from tying for third place on the all-time points list.
Ventresca, an education major, is the daughter of Frank and Laurie Ventresca of Syracuse.
