Colin Greenseich of the men's cross country team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 12, 2014.

The freshman helped the Lakers take fifth place at the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday morning. He finished with the team's second-fasted time, crossing the finish line in 26:58.2. That time was also good for a top-25 finish, claiming the 25th spot.

Greenseich has now improved his 8K time in each of his last three races. Compared to the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational on Sept. 20, the Cicero native shaved more than a minute off his 8k time at Hamilton.

Men's cross country will be back in action at 11 a.m. on Saturday when it travels to Lafayette College Leopard Invitational.
