Oswego, N.Y. - Emily Doe of the women's swimming and diving team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on November 2, 2014.

Doe secured 29 points for the Lakers in the team's first win of the season against Wells College.

The junior began the day earning 11 points swimming the last leg of the 200 yd medley relay for Oswego. Doe then went on to take first in the 100 yd and 50 yd freestyles, capturing an additional 18 points and helping the Lakers defeat the Express 105-63.

Women's swimming and diving will return to the pool at 1 p.m. on Saturday for a home meet against Clarkson University.
