OSWEGO, N.Y. - Bridget Smith of the women's ice hockey team has won the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Nov. 23, 2014.

Smith posted two shut outs and picked up two key wins against in-conference opponent Potsdam this weekend.

In the first game on Friday, the Hamburg native racked up 29 saves in a 4-0 win against the Bears. The following day, Smith recorded another 28 saves to pick up her second shut-out of the weekend. 

The two shut-outs brings Smith's total to six in her career as a Laker.

Women's ice hockey returns to the ice at 2 p.m. on Tuesday where they play host to Hamilton College.
