Freshman Jordan Prophet, a member of the men's swimming and diving team, broke three different school records during the three-day Fredonia Invitational over the weekend. On Friday, Prophet shattered the five-year-old 200 individual medley record by three seconds with a winning time of 1:56.82. On Saturday, Prophet won the 200 backstroke in a school record time of 1:54.48, two seconds better than the old record. On Sunday, Prophet won the 400 IM in 4:11.57, shaving nearly three seconds off the former school record, and finishing over 24 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. He also swam in several relays at the meet, helping the Lakers finish third as a team in the nine-school invite.
