OSWEGO, N.Y. - Brendyn Karinchak of the baseball team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on April 12, 2015.

Karinchak had another great performance on the mound for Oswego on Saturday, earning the win as the Lakers defeated Oneonta 9-2.

The senior pitched seven innings, only allowing one hit. Karinchak also punched out seven batters and only walked one en route to his fifth win of the season (5-1).

Baseball will return to action at 4 p.m. on Tuesday as it hosts St. John Fisher College at Laker Baseball Field.
