OSWEGO, N.Y. - Abigail Boyce of the women's track and field teams has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on April 12, 2015.

Boyce nabbed her first two first-place finishes in the teams away meet at Nazareth College on Saturday.

The junior crossed the finish line of the 100m hurdles in 16.27m, tying her career-best in that event and earning her first victory as a Laker. Boyce also earned a second place finish in the 4x100 running the third leg. her relay team would finish the race with a time of 50.97.

In the field events, Boyce set a school record and took first place in the triple jump, recording a distance of 10.85 meters.

Women's track and field will return to action at 3 p.m. on Friday as the team travels Cortland for the Cortland Classic.
