OSWEGO, N.Y. - Tori Trovato of the softball team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on April 27, 2015.

Trovato played in and started all four of the Lakers games this week, helping the team achieve a 2-2 record.

The Fulton native batted .467 (7-for-15) while also knocking three doubles. Trovato was tied for the most runs scored this week with five and also tacked on an RBI. In the field, the junior recorded six putouts and 14 assists.

Softball will close out its season at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday as it heads to Rochester to take on Nazareth College.
