OSWEGO, N.Y. - Bernard Osei of the men's soccer team has been named the Oswego State Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Oct. 11, 2015.

Coming out of halftime down 1-0 to Buffalo State on Saturday, Osei was able to nab an equalizing goal just 2:14 into the second. Connor Lunduski ripped a shot that was saved by the Bengal keeper but Osei was there to collect the rebound and find th eback of the net. The Lakers would eventually fall in the final minutes on a penalty kick.

Osei currently leads the team in both goals (4) and overall points (11).

Men's soccer returns home this weekend as the Lakers host Geneseo for a 3 p.m. game on Friday. The team will be wearing its pink jerseys as it is taking part in Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
