OSWEGO, N.Y. -- Emily Doe of the women's swimming and diving team has been named the Oswego State Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on Nov. 15, 2015.

Doe started off the meet by helping the Lakers to a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay. The senior swam the fastest time among her relay-mates with a 26.21 second length of the pool.

Later on, Doe placed first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.67. She also claimed a third-place finish in the 50-yard free, garnering three points for the Lakers.

Doe's solo and team wins led the Lakers to its fourth-straight victory, 102-36 over Alfred State. Oswego will be back in the pool at home on Saturday for a meet against Brockport beginning at 1 p.m.
